Website privacy
This notice covers this informational Prawn website and enquiries sent to Prawn Support at prawnsupport@gmail.com.
Who is responsible for your information?
Thomas Hood, trading as Prawn, is the controller responsible for personal information received through product and support enquiries. Prawn Support is the contact name used for those enquiries. Contact details are provided above.
Browsing this page
The website code does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts or third-party tracking cookies. The early-access form submits your email directly to our secure waitlist endpoint to queue your invitation, with an email fallback option. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser details and access logs, to deliver and protect the website. This website is hosted through Cloudflare Pages; its infrastructure and service policies also apply.
Early-access requests
When you enter your email into the early-access form, it is transmitted securely over HTTPS to our early-access waitlist database. We record your email address and request timestamp to invite you when the UK early-access cohort opens. We use this information solely to notify you about Prawn access and onboarding. Requesting early access does not subscribe you to third-party marketing.
If you prefer not to use the web form, or if your browser blocks scripts, you can email Prawn Support directly at prawnsupport@gmail.com. You can request removal from the waitlist at any time by emailing us.
If you contact us
Clicking an email link opens your email application. If you send an enquiry, we receive your email address and the contents you choose to send through Gmail. We use that information to respond to your request and handle related support. Please do not send passwords, API keys, card details or identity documents.
Purpose and retention
We use enquiry information to take steps at your request before a possible contract, or for our legitimate interest in answering general product enquiries and maintaining service security. We keep correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry, maintain necessary records or meet legal obligations. We do not use an enquiry as consent to a marketing mailing list.
Your information rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, object to certain processing, and obtain portability. Email the address above to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Before the paid service launches
This website currently has no checkout or customer account form. A service-specific privacy notice covering billing, activation emails and proxy requests will be provided before paid access begins.
