Who operates Prawn?
Prawn is a UK developer tools business operated by Thomas Hood trading as Prawn. Support enquiries: prawnsupport@gmail.com. In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Electronic Commerce Regulations 2002, statutory trading disclosures and pre-contract order confirmations will provide full seller contact details before checkout opens.
Plans and prices
The initial launch is for UK customers. Pro Monthly is planned at £19 per month, renewing monthly until cancelled. The Founder Pass is planned at £99 paid once for 12 months, without automatic renewal. An initial release of 50 Founder Passes is planned. Prices are in GBP. Prawn is not currently VAT-registered and does not add VAT. Third-party AI-provider charges are separate.
Delivery and requirements
Prawn combines local developer tools with separate hosted API proxy access. Local repair and context pruning require the MCP tools to be installed and connected to a compatible assistant. Verification requires your chosen test command. Hosted access is planned to be delivered through an email activation link and account-generated access key; it requires an internet connection, a compatible client and your own supported provider API credentials. Provider costs are separate. Current hosted service limits are 60 requests per minute per account and 2 MiB per request. We will confirm exactly which tools and services each plan includes, and the supported setup, before accepting payment. No physical product is shipped.
Cancellation and refunds
Pro subscribers will be able to cancel future renewals; cancellation will not extend the paid access period. The Founder Pass will end after its 12-month term without renewal. No purchase is possible on this website today. Before checkout opens, we will publish complete cancellation and refund terms, any applicable cooling-off information, and the process for requesting immediate service access. Nothing on this page excludes applicable statutory consumer rights.
Product status
The local tools can repair supported mechanical coding errors and trim source context for prompts. With a supplied verification command, repairs are checked and the edited file is restored if verification fails. These checks cover what your command tests. The hosted proxy routes requests without pruning their content; proxy access alone does not run local repairs or pruning. Actual token, cost and time savings depend on the task, model and workflow; no specific saving or repair time is guaranteed. Prawn is independent of the model providers and developer tools discussed on this website. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.
